The Auto-Reload Countdown Timer is a very commodious feature if you need to use a timer frequently.A timer/watch may be employed as a wake-up alarm, nonetheless it is suggested that heavy sleepers use a general clock/vibrator unit. Not for children By SR I wrongly assumed that because this was sold by the Bedwetting Store, it was intended for pre-adolescents. Although the band is styled for a child (camouflage) and adjustable, it is clearly sized for an adult. It could barely be made small enough for a six year old wrist but was still too bulky and uncomfortable. Consequently, it is rarely worn, defeating the purpose. It otherwise seems to be a good quality watch but the multitude of features are far too complex for a child. The two hour automatic vibration reminder was what we were looking for but it definitely requires adult assistance.

works, but needs improvement By Day I also purchased this watch for my 6yr old son. He liked the camo band, and we needed the countdown timer to remind him to go void at regular timed intervals. However, the band is adult sized (I have worn it for him and it’s big on me too) and on his wrist, the velcro barely catches together and then has a long “tail” that catches all sorts of lint and fuzz.
In addition, the buttons that control the vibration, alarm, on/off, and mode functions are so sensitive that barely bumping them turns the alarm off. I thought maybe he was just playing too rough or not being careful not to bump the buttons, so I wore it a few days and even though I was trying to be careful not to, I kept bumping and changing the setting as well. Plus the area of the display that shows if the watch is on vibrate, alarm, both or off is rather tiny and hard to see. I usually have to turn the light button on to see that corner, but if you hit another button, then the light goes out.
Finally, when my son began school this year, he said the first time the vibration went off his teacher turned the alarm off and told him it was disrupting her class. I had noticed that the vibration had a rather loud buzzing sound that was noticable to surrounding people. We are trying to work this out with her, but couldn’t there be a way to make an alarm vibrate more discreetly?
I think this could be a really great watch, but only gave it 3 stars because of the needed improvements.

I wish my son hadn’t lost this By Eric Sontag This watch was made for the ADHD child in mind. If you kid takes medicine, the last thing you want is to have him dependent on a camp counselor to remind him/her when to take it. Having a discrete (vibrating) multiple alarm allows a child to take responsibility for his meds, whithout bringing attention to him/herself. The price is steep, but there’s nothing else like this and it is clearly a must have if your kid takes meds.
